Basel with introduce us to Arabic maqamat (scales) and teach famous song from the Andalusian era. We will learn the rhythm, which is in 10/8 time. and then sing the song while simultaneously playing the rhythm. 

The lyrics will be provided in transliterated English (Romanized letters) so that everyone can read and follow along. Additionally, Basel will provide musical notation to help students read and follow the melody more effectively.
