This October 31st, join us for a free screening of Sinners as part of our Black History Month celebrations, we’re bringing together the chills of Halloween with one of the iconic faces of Black cinema - Ryan Coogler.
Sinners is a 2025 genre-defying film written, directed, and produced by Ryan Coogler.
Set in 1932 in the Mississippi Delta during the Jim Crow era, it blends elements of Southern Gothic and supernatural horror...
The story follows twin brothers, Smoke and Stack (both played by Michael B. Jordan) who return to their hometown seeking a fresh start.
They open a juke joint—a cultural space of music, community, and Black Southern life—only to discover a supernatural evil waiting in the shadows.
This a free screening and open to students and staff! Halloween dress is encourages and there will be free popcorn and hallloween treats for all attendees
