Meet at the Main SMR Reception (off-campus activity)
Get involved in a UWL Community Tree Planting session in collaboration with the charity Letting Grow. You will be part of a group of student volunteers who will be planting trees to help re-forest and re-wild Glade Lane Canalside Park in Southall.
Tree planting in urban spaces improves climate resilience and combats threats to the natural environment to promote a happier and greener place to live for our local communities! Being in nature and around trees also supports wellbeing and mental health by reducing depression, anxiety and fatigue.
Why you should get involved?
Support Letting Grow in their goal to plant 5000 trees in Ealing over December and January.
